Meet main character Gordo – a self-identifying scientist, “call me a Fartologist” – a born, and bred, resident of Capreol Ontario, and his soon-to-be best friend, the newcomer, Mordechai. The two 11-year-olds are obsessed with all scientific details about farts. Together they collect fart gas, from willing community volunteers, to fill their Big Bag O’ Farts, their secret weapon in the face of dangerous strangers and zombie Nazis. Can they solve the Missing Capreol Nine case mystery – what happened to the children? Why is Gordo’s mom so mad after getting an emergency room call from classmate Daniel’s mom? With the help of his psychiatrist will Gordo overcome the anxiety and nightmares that plague him while he copes with his before-school flyer delivery part-time job? What happened to the delivery boy before Gordo? Will the new kid Mordechai, settle into the school and neighbourhood, and will his big stepsister Ina contribute important girl-fart data for their Fartology research? Even Mordechai’s ancient Uncle Arnie and his fellow veteran geezers at the Legion contribute to the Big Bag O’ Farts. Will it be instrumental in the grand finale showdown against the Noxious Nazi zombie or… are Gordo and Mordechai doomed?
